June Annual Meeting -  Potlatch + Chapter Elections at McNary Wildlife Refuge

When: Wednesday June 14th 6:30-8 PM

Where: McNary Education Center - 64 Maple Street, Burbank, Washington 99323

Our annual membership meeting is here!  Join us for an evening of food, friends and chapter elections.  This is a wonderful opportunity to hob-nob with fellow plant folks and find out more about our chapter board and committees all while checking out the fabulous Education Center at McNary.  Interested in serving on the board or a committee?  All current members are welcome and encouraged to participate!  If you’d like to join in on the potlatch, please bring a dish to share.  To help curtail waste, BYO plate/cutlery if you can so we can do our best to leave no trace in our host space.

Fancy an evening stroll?  Feel free to check out one of the nearby trails after elections:  Quail Trail + Wallula Trail at McNary or Two Sisters in Wallula Gap  !  Bonus– we may even get to see some local fauna frolicking amongst the flora as we catch the sunset.

All are welcome to this free event though only CBWNPS members will get to vote!  ;)

Special thanks to the volunteers at Friends of Mid Columbia River Wildlife Refuges for hosting us in their space! Their mission:  "To support the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service by providing opportunities for people to connect with nature through projects, programs and events."  To learn more about Friends of MCRWR and what they do, follow them on Facebook (@FriendsofMCRWR) or check out their website:  https://www.friendsofmcrwr.org/
