Tiger Canyon Road to Saddle Trip Leader- Ame Doyle

From Walla Walla drive up Mill Creek. Turn off on FS 65 and continue to the top. Roadside vegetation in gravel banks and mossy seeps on the basalt cliffs side will be examined as far as the Saddle. Expect bog orchids, wild ginger, monkeyflowers and much much more. Walk may continue along spur road 6511 (Government Road) near third switchback.

Wildflower Hikes: Blue Mountains 2023 CBNPS/WW Subchapter

Bring walking stick, tick repellant, hat, mask, lunch, water and a few dollars for driver. Dress appropriately in sturdy walking shoes or boots and, depending on terrain, long pants. Guests are welcome. Unless otherwise noted, these hikes are easy to moderate elevation and leisurely in pace but involve uneven surfaces. Plant lists are available for most.
