Volunteer Planting Opportunity! Our chapter is partnering with WDFW to plant up to 1000 sagebrush at Rattlesnake Slope Reserve. The plants and plant water will at the site. We’ll walk about 1 to 1 ½ miles each way with about 300 ft of elevation gain. There may also be some areas to plant in much closer to the parking lot. Wear clothes appropriate for the weather, sturdy shoes/boots suitable for uneven ground and cheatgrass, personal drinking water, work gloves if you want and shovels or sturdy garden trowels. We ask that you bring a face mask that you can wear if you’re working closely with people outside your usual contact group. We’ll have light snacks available! . Rattlesnake Slope is off Hwy 225 near the Horn Rapids Park. Take action and help us restore these beautiful public lands!
Please contact Mickie via the button below if you plan to come so we can let you know if there’s a change in plans
