Into the Wild: How and Where to View Wildflowers Locally
Join us and our friends from REI on Saturday April 8th at the Richland Public Library to celebrate National Native Plant Appreciation Month! Botanist and Shrub-Steppe-Soil Crust Extraordinaire Al Sullivan will go over the importance of how and why to recreate responsibly when viewing wildflowers in the shrub-steppe. Then, CBWNPS Field Trip Chair Janelle will take us on a virtual wildflower walk and introduce us to some April blooms and where to find them. We’ll also hear about upcoming free wildflower walks as well as some exciting native plant related events happening throughout the wildflower season. Coffee and light refreshments will be on hand so bring your favorite mug to help cut down on waste and leave no trace ;) All are welcome to this free in person event!
