Help the YEER program knock out some weeds at their recent planting site in Mattawa! The site is a YEER curriculum site. YEER is a WNPS managed ecology curriculum program for middle school students. Each school has an active site being restored. We had a good start to weeding with the students but were not complete weeding the site. It is about 30% weeded. The site is a .5-acre area. Mattawa is a 1.5-hour drive from Yakima, one hour from the Tri-City area and about an hour from Ellensburg.

To make it worth your while- you could add in a few wildflower areas to do your own botanizing in, bring a picnic and make a day of it!
