About this hike: Gothberg Property Millcreek
12 acres of private property a few miles up Mill Creek Road with both Titus and Mill Creeks running through. A natural spring also feeds a wetland/bog area year around. With Rhonda Gothberg as our host and leader, we will walk from the front piece of the property to the back, wetter area on first a mowed former road and then a grassy trail route. Long pants and sleeves, sticks, wading or high boots (muck/water can be ankle high and ticks may be present) or a change of socks and shoes highly recommended. At 1200 ft. we will encounter a number of early spring flowers in bloom (review time !!!). This will be a leisurely walk with opportunity to stop, photograph and identify. Plan on a couple of hours (bring snacks) and back to Walla Walla by 1:30pm.
