This trip is full — Hope you can make it to one of our May Hikes!

Meet at the park and ride on Terminal Drive just off of Van Giesen and Hiway 240 (along the railroad tracks). This field trip will travel from Richland to Vernita for a quick stop and then proceed up the hill to enter the Hanford Reach National Monument. We will travel to the White Bluffs overlook to see both the wildflowers and the view of the Columbia River and the Hanford Site. We will walk along the trail toward the sand dunes before returning to the overlook and heading down to the White Bluffs Boat Launch. Trip duration will be 4 to 5 hours. Janelle Downs will lead along with Ernie Crediford.
