Join us for a fine meal and excellent company at the Richland Community Center. Please bring a casserole, salad, or dessert to share. Also bring your plate, cup and flatware in an effort to get out of the habit of using disposable plastic ware (although we’ll have some reusable plastic ware available just in case). A variety of beverages will be provided by the chapter.
Our speaker will be Dr. Jessica Allen, assistant professor in the biology department at Eastern Washington University. Her talk “Lichens of Washington State: a brief history and recent finds in the Palouse, Channeled Scabland, and North Cascades” will give us some insight into these important but often overlooked components of our natural surroundings across all kinds of habitats.
Entries to this year’s photo contest will also be shown and winners announced.
We will have 2020 Calendars ($12) and Holiday cards for sale.
